Baleset II Accident

Ázott patkány

A hétvégi látogatás a családi kertben nem várt balesetet hozott.
A kert egyik oldalán van egy elég mély tavacska, aranyhalakkal, tavirózsával. Oszkár korábban tudomást se vett róla, így nem is gondoltuk, hogy baj forrása lehet.

Oszkár nagyon élvezi, hogy a hatalmas, füves kertben póráz nélkül rohangálhat. Ha unokahúgaink is megérkeznek, akkor hatalmas kergetőzés kezdődik. A kutya teljesen belelovalja magát a kitérő manőverekbe, a futkosásba. A lányok sikongatva hol menekülnek, hol az üldöző szerepét veszik át. 

 A nagy játék kellős közepén Oszkár egyszer csak ugrik egyet -és a tó közepén landol. A hideg vízben rémülten próbál megkapaszkodni az oldalfalban, de így is beletelik egy-két percbe, amíg sikerül kimenteni.

Párom törölközőbe csavarja, de a halastó vizétől bűzlik az egész kutya. Kénytelen-kelletlen túlesik élete első zuhanyozásán. Nem így akartam volna először megfürdetni! Az amúgy is utált hajszárító most teljes fokozaton működik - miközben az ázott patkány kinézetű kutyám minden ízében remeg a kezemben. Mikor nagyjából megszárad a hasa, a háta és a feje, bebugyolálom egy meleg takaróba. Reszketve bújik hozzám, nagyon nehezen nyugszik csak meg. 

Éppen most kapunk egy világítós mellényt az esti sétákhoz - pont jól jön a következő órákban, amíg teljesen átmelegszik és megszárad. Oszkár is így érezheti, mert egyáltalán nem tiltakozik a ruha ellen, sőt később is készségesen megáll, ha fel akarom adni rá.

Wet rat

Visiting the family's garden brought an accident. 

There is a little pound at the side of the garden, full with water lilies and goldfishes. Oszkár was never mind it, so we weren’t think on it as troublemaker.

Oszkár is very happy with the cordless run in the big, grassland. A great chase is starting, when our nieces come. The dog leads himself on the running, on the deflexions. Either the girls run for, or they take the role of the chaser with crowing.  

Oszkár is jumping one in the middle of the game - and he is landing in the middle of the pound. He tries to catch the shore in the cold water, but it takes a few minutes to escape. 

My husband wriggles him into a towel, but the whole dog reeks of the fish pound’s water. He gets through his first shower-bath. I don't want his first bath this way! The hated hairdryer works on full warm - and my wet-rat looking dog trembles in my hand. After drying his belly and head I put him into a warm cover. He nestles shivering to me and he hardly stills.

We just get a little lighting bodice to the evening walks - it
stands us in good stead until he get warm and dry. Oszkár may feel the same, because he doesn't protest again the cloth, and stands still during the dressing.
